Today I was born
Today was the beginning
Today that virtuous woman sighted me
Today that woman cried to have me here
Today she bared it all for me
Today I came from the world above
To bear witness to the greatness of my creator
Today I was welcome
Today they all felt the need to touch me
Today I was innocent
Today I was guiltless
Today, I am grown
With a lot of desires
And I keep on the trials
I search for the inspiration
Just to keep alive my ambition
Today, a day to reflect
Over the things I expect
Strongly, God I respect
I have a life impossible to oppose
Because my life is for a purpose
Even though I stumble
Never will I fumble
I refuse to settle for less
